I have traveled with the Down syndrome of Montgomery County to Dallas, Texas to attend the National Down syndrome Congress Convention.
I already took a group exercise when I was there in the early morning. They had hosted dance parties, workshops such as advocacy is the biggest topic to talk about.
I went to some hearings and a lot of meetings! I already attended to some dance workshops/advocacy such as safety another topic that is also important information to hear about. Dance workshops were very fun!.
Last year, when I was at Dallas, Texas with the Down syndrome of Montgomery County. I already seen people from Ruby’s Rainbow Scholarship that is only designed with people with Down syndrome that can go away to college. I have heard that I got a Ruby’s Rainbow Scholarship. I was happy and sad at the same time. I didn’t know who came down to visit me and both of my parents flew down for celebration. I cried of joy and that was the best moments I had and a very successful trip.
