I went to Cambodia, Siem Reap and Phnom Penh

Posted on December 6, 2022December 21, 2022

On the first day of Thanksgiving break in November 2019, me and my parents went on a plane to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. We were at the airport then we landed we took the taxi to the hotel. The time zone is 12 hours ahead. It was hot and sticky outside. Then we visited 3 sites that were fun to explore. We had new food it was delicious. We explored the Buddhist temple. I walked all the way upstairs it was hard I had to exercise to make it upstairs. We explored their history and their culture while looking around in the temples. We went to the Genocide Museum to learn about the awful genocide of the Cambodian people by the Khmer Rouge than we explored more at the Angkor Watt. The temple was wonderful and I had a great time. We took our time to look at new activities we explored. I learned about the Vietnam war and the Cambodian civil war and I saw the biggest tanks. Also, we looked at different designs and colors of clothing..
