On November 18, 2022, LATAM Airlines plane crashed at Peruvian runway while my parents and I were on our way to Lima Peru over Thanksgiving break. We really wanted to go to Peru but there was an airplane crash at Jorge Chavez international airport in Callao, Peru. They cancelled a lot of flights and unfortunately, two firefighters died. My parents went to Atlanta, Georgia and we were stranded in Atlanta, Georgia at 1:00 in the morning. We lost our suitcases which were going to Peru but we eventually go them back in Washington, DC. We were in the hotel starving. so we got food. After that night, we had to travel back home to Maryland to have Thanksgiving at home.
